PathfindersBRThe Choices Program is a division of PathfindersBR Firm. Our mission is to help provide the information of resources to single mothers (especially with deadbeat dads) who work, are ineligible for government assistance but still need that helping hand or direction to a program that could assist them.
There are many programs out there for single parents that are considered no to low-income, but there are not many programs (none that we could locate) that assist mothers who are fairly holding their own but fall short occasionally due to lack of child support or similar circumstances.
These are the same single mothers that though they are working, they are still living paycheck to paycheck but can not qualify for reduced lunches for their children in school. We are hoping, if even in some small way, The Choices Program will assist with making even a slight difference.
We've created a resource booklet that list a collection of programs, organziations and services that may be of some assistance to single working mothers. We've also added in tips, ideas and articles that may be of interest and of help to a single parent.
Additionally, we are working on a program that will speak specifically to the underserved market of single working mothers especially with deadbeat dads. We just really feel there should be a program that addresses not only the concerns of the parent in this situation but the needs of the child that consistently go unmet.
Lastly, we are creating The Choices Foundation. A nonprofit organization that will provide grants to single working mothers to address some of the obstacles they face as they are raising their children.

Parenting is hard enough. The econony makes life harder, especially for a parent with a deadbeat dad. It's stressful for every mother, but it robs our children of a proper childhood.
Wouldn't it be great to have a listing of organizations that could assist single working mothers in their time of need? And maybe include tips and articles that could not only assist the sinlge mom but the childen too?
The Choices Program has created the resource booklet, Mom's with Deadbeat Dads [MD's]. Great information for only $7
